1. Definitions

1.1 Platform: Refers to cs2tournament.com, its website, software, servers, and services related to hosting CS2 tournaments.
1.2 User/Captain: Any individual who registers for or participates in a 2v2 tournament. Only team captains need to subscribe.
1.3 Organizer: cs2tournament.com as sole operator of all 2v2 tournaments.
1.4 Competition: Any 2v2 tournament hosted on the Platform.
1.5 Services: All features of the Platform, including registration, subscriptions, gameplay hosting, bracket management, and prize distribution.

2. Acceptance of Terms

2.1 cs2tournament.com is an independent platform. We are not affiliated, endorsed by, or in any way connected to Valve Corporation or Counter-Strike 2.
2.2 By registering, subscribing, or playing in a 2v2 tournament, Users agree to these Terms.
2.3 cs2tournament.com may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Users must be at least 18 years old to register, subscribe, or claim cash prizes.
3.2 One account per User. Multi-accounting or account sharing leads to confusion and possible disqualification.

4. Subscriptions & Fees

4.1 Packages:

• Gold (Free): Free entry into limited tournaments, in-game rewards, and community access.

• Diamond (€3/month): Paid access with cash prize eligibility and expanded tournament access.

4.2 Pricing:

• Subscription prices are final, non-negotiable, and subject to change at any time without prior notice.

• cs2tournament.com may cancel subscription plans at its sole discretion.

4.3 Refund Policy:
Refunds are only granted if:

• The User purchased a subscription,

• Did not register for any tournament day,

• Did not play,

• Submits a refund request within 14 days of purchase.
  If uncertain, Users are encouraged to try the free Gold tier first.

4.4 Fair Trade:
If cs2tournament.com changes or restructures subscription benefits, Users accept that some risk is shared in exchange for low monthly fees.

5. Tournament Rules

5.1 Structure:

• Format: 2v2 Single Elimination.

• Gold tournaments are played on Saturdays, Diamond tournaments on Sundays.

• Servers are hosted in Europe.

5.2 Attendance:

• No players may be added once the tournament starts.

• If a teammate fails to show, the team forfeits automatically. Solo vs 2 play is not permitted.

5.3 Rescheduling:

• cs2tournament.com may reschedule matches in cases of force majeure (e.g., game servers down, technical failures). Users must adhere to the rescheduled date.

5.4 Skill-Based Outcomes:

• All winnings are based strictly on skill and performance in tournaments. Subscription fees or tournament entry do not guarantee any winnings.

5.5 Match Integrity

• Match fixing, intentional walkovers, collusion between teams, or any behavior undermining fair competition will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament day and an official warning being added to the both participating teams.

6. Conduct & Discipline

6.1 Behaviour:

• Text chat and voice chat are not monitored in-game. Discord channels may be reviewed if reports are made.

• Abusive communication, constant harassment, or bullying will result in disciplinary action.

6.2 Punishments:

• Step 1: Official Warning

• Step 2: 1 Tournament Day Disqualification

• Step 3: 1-Year Ban

6.3 Refund Forfeiture:

• Users who receive an official warning lose the right to subscription refunds for 6 months.

• Banned Users are not eligible for refunds.

6.4 Neglecting Rules:

• Gross negligence of tournament rules or Discord server rules may lead to prize forfeiture, in addition to existing disciplinary measures.

7. Prizes

7.1 cs2tournament.com may change prize structures after a tournament week ends (i.e., after the final match on Sunday). Adjustments take effect starting Monday 00:01.
7.2 Prizes are distributed via PayPal or Revolut in euros. Processing may take up to 30 days.
7.3 cs2tournament.com deducts transaction fees (PayPal/Revolut) from payouts.
7.4 Unclaimed prizes after 100 days are forfeited.

8. Liability

8.1 cs2tournament.com is operated by a sole trader under Irish jurisdiction.
8.2 cs2tournament.com is not responsible for damages, technical issues, or side effects caused by using or participating in Counter-Strike 2 tournaments.
8.3 Users agree to hold cs2tournament.com harmless from damages arising from misconduct or rule violations.

9. Governing Law

All disputes shall be governed under Irish law, with Dublin courts holding exclusive jurisdiction.
